Every detail counts: no smoke and mirrors here
The “Red Room” was pretty shabby when we arrived. We suspected it had spent part of its life as a smoking room, because the walls were smoke stained and the whole room had a dingy atmosphere.
The client wanted a striking room, and chose white woodwork and beams against the strong red of the walls. This is one of the most detailed and demanding jobs a painter can do. There’s no room for even a millimetre of over-painting, every line needs to be absolutely straight, and any blemish will take away from the overall effect. Our client loved the end result – and so do we.
